The Medical Council of Mauritius confirms that the University of Technology, Mauritius is officially recognized, and its MBBS degree given to Anna Medical College students is accepted for medical registration in Mauritius.
Internships
Following discussions with the Economic Development Board, the Ministry has indicated its support for arranging internships for Indian medical students pursuing undergraduate medical education in Mauritius. These students may receive provisional registration with the Medical Council of Mauritius for the duration of their internship, subject to forthcoming amendments to the Medical Council Act. All financial responsibilities related to the internship will rest with the respective medical institutions.
